BOV increases tuition for upcoming academic year

On Friday April 7, the Board of Visitors approved an increase in tuition and fees and room and board for the 2006-07 session:

    * New Tuition and Fees:
          o VA Undergraduate — $6,290
          o Non-VA Undergraduate — $16,236
          o VA Graduate (per credit hour) — $246
          o Non-VA Graduate (per credit hour) — $701
    * Room and Board:
          o VA Student — $6,496
          o Non-VA Student — $6,496

For the 2005-06 academic year, tuition and fees and room and board stand as follows:

Tuition and Fees:
VA Undergraduate — $5,886
Non-VA Undergraduate — $15,322
VA Graduate (per credit hour) — $246           
Non-VA Graduate (per credit hour) — $701

Room and Board:
            VA Student — $6,124
            Non-VA Student — $6,124
