Veterans’ stadium to be torn down and reconstructed

The new Veterans’ Memorial Stadium will be expanded to incorporate memorial honors to those soldiers who lost their lives in foreign wars. The current baseball stadium, which will be torn down to make room for the new baseball/softball field, features a memorial recognizing those soldiers who died during World War II. The new stadium would honor all Harrisonburg veterans who gave their lives during any foreign war.More...
