The NFL has really outdone itself by pitting the New England Patriots against the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII, a game that will be full of great storylines. As I sit in my class of 40-plus juniors and seniors taking a GSCI course, I can’t help but ask myself, “When am I ever going to use this?” For years, the answer to that question has been something along the lines of “You will need it later in school.” I apologize for being the bearer of bad news, but college is the time when “later” occurs.
