
SGA elections ended at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
The position of Student Representative to the Board of Visitors is yet to be resolved and a run-off will be held between Marley Green (31%) and Fred Rose(29%). A 50 percent +1 majority is needed to win in the general election.
Official Results:
-Larson Thune (51%) won Student Body President over Chiquita King (46%).
-Dan Stana, who ran unopposed, won Vice President of Administrative Affairs with 95 percent of the vote.
-Candace Avalos (56%) defeated Mallory Micetich (42%) for Vice President of Student Affairs.
-Tara Rife (57%) defeated Parag Parikh (39%) in the Executive Treasurer race.
-3975 students voted in the election, 26.614% of student body.

A rising complaint among my JMU compatriots is aimed directly at the heart of our beloved D-Hall. As a freshman, the initial allure of D-Hall and its above-average buffet offerings was an interesting novelty, but the reality of the place seemed to set in among all of my friends, with dirty cups, plates and the occasional malignancy in the form of flies, cockroaches and the like.
