Parade of Champions

Study abroad ranks high: Although JMU ranked third in the nation among master’s level institutions for the 626 students studying abroad in 2002-’03, SGA seeks more lighting :During the last week of the fall semester, lighting and emergency phones were reviewed on campus and recommendations were submitted by SGA to ensure safety on campus.
Arboretum, finance buildings to be built in '06, '07: JMU soon can expect to see two more new buildings on campus.  
 



Those unaffected by disasters cannot turn away from need: One man survived by hanging onto a coconut tree. Where will they be?:The Christmas tree is in the garbage. Dad is outside on the ladder in below-freezing weather, trying to take the lights off the house.
Competitive Drive : Much has changed in the JMU wrestling program over the past five years. Students channel entrepreneurial spirit with Mary Kay cosmetic sales: While some students work retail or at local restaurants to earn extra cash during the school year, some have delved into a different type of entrepreneurial undertaking.
Diversity promoted through scholarships: JMU will continue to promote diversity by providing full scholarships to 50 new students from underrepresented groups every year.
