Safety precautions important for students in off-campus housing
In 2003, there were 195 burglaries and break-ins in Harrisonburg. To
date in 2004, there have been 258, according to Sgt. Shane Brown who works
for the Crime Prevention Unit of the Harrisonburg Police.

The Student Senate passed four resolution bills on Tuesday. These bills
do not take any action, but show JMU students support certain causes and
encourage action.
