Checking fire detectors not student priority
House Editorial
About 5,000 people are killed each year in the
United States in residential fires, according to the Virginia
Department of Fire Programs. Installing and consistently checking
a smoke detector is one of the most effective means of minimizing
death, injury and property damage.

Breeze Reader's View

to convince Virginians that the underfunding of our institutions
would reach chronic levels. I am not sure whether no one was

listened and I've cared.
Letters to the Editor
Sometimes you have to censor what write or print.
