Professor appealing dismissal

After receiving a notice of termination, a professor has filed for an appeal, claiming the university has an unreasonable basis of his termination and has violated his academic freedom.

SGA issues Bill of Opinion, discusses FEB allotments

Issuing its first Bill of Opinion of the year and discussing Front-End Budgeting, or priority status, the Student Government Association met Tuesday. For over 11 hours during its annual FEB night, the SGA debated over amendments ultimately affecting the amount of money each organization would receive for the 2003-'04 academic year.

'Suspicious person' cases reported

A "suspicious person" loitering around Edith Carrier Arboretum and another at the south end of Greek Row was reported according to a timely notification bulletin issued April 9 by JMU police.
