The JMU chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People held its annual Image Awards ceremony Tuesday night in the College Center Grand Ballroom. Special guests included Garrett Fox, Hampton University senior and president of the Virginia Youth and College Division of the NAACP, and David Mills ('02), a Virginia House of Delegates candidate.

JMU students, HPD officer allegedly assaulted off campus

A JMU student was the victim of an alleged aggravated assault that occurred April 4 at a nearby off-campus apartment complex, according to a timely notification bulletin issued by JMU police.
