Disability Awareness Week addresses issues, provides tips for success
Showing the difficulities of disabled youth transitioning from
high school to the real word, Disability Awareness Week is holding
lectures and events to raise awareness of issues relating to living
with disabilities.

NAACP recognizes 'unsung
heroes' in 2003 Image Awards ceremony
The JMU chapter of the National Association for the Advancement
of Colored People held its annual Image Awards ceremony Tuesday
night in the College Center Grand Ballroom. Special guests included
Garrett Fox, Hampton University senior and president of the Virginia
Youth and College Division of the NAACP, and David Mills ('02),
a Virginia House of Delegates candidate.
JMU students, HPD officer
allegedly assaulted off campus
A JMU student was the victim of an alleged aggravated assault
that occurred April 4 at a nearby off-campus apartment complex,
according to a timely notification bulletin issued by JMU police.
