SGA looks to illuminate campus safety
|

This fall the JMU campus will look a little brighter as the SGA looks
to install several new lighting and safety measures at the north end of
Greek Row.

Greek Week shacks for charity:
Greek Week, an annual event sponsored by Interfraternity and Panhellenic
Councils, is being held this week in order to raise money for each organizations
philanthropy under the slogan "Everyone has their day in the sun,
and for Greeks it lasts longer." |

BOV to follow updated standards:
After collecting more than 1,000 signatures in 100 hours, the Virginia
General Assembly passed an amendment to the higher education reform bill,
creating new standards for the JMU Board of Visitors on April 6.

Bill looks to amend handbook:
The Student Senate spent an extended amount of time debating the wording
of a resolution bill on Tuesday evening. The bill commended the Elections
Commission and commissioner on a job well done and thanked them for all
the time put into the elections. |

Some people like to have their cats curled up in front of the fire, but
soon some people in Wisconsin may be able to mount a cat above the mantle.

Bicoastal comedy came to Wilson Hall Auditorium as Mark Curry and Greg
Rogell took hold of a bottle of water and a wireless mic with the noble
aspiration of bringing amusement to a college campus on a Monday night.

Freshmen pageant features pirates:
Contestants participated in a wide range of activities, from dancing
as pirates to modeling swimwear during the Mr. Freshman 2005 pageant.
