The men’s tennis team swept all three doubles matches and defeated Washington and Lee University 5-1 Tuesday at the Convocation Center Tennis Courts in their last regular season match.

Junior Martin Rohricht and sophomore John Snead won at No. 1 doubles and improved their season record to 14-1.

Seniors Craig Anderson and Colin Malcolm won at No. 2 doubles 8-5 and the No. 3 doubles team of junior David Emery and freshman Brian Clay won 8-2.

The Dukes also took four of five singles matches as Snead, Rohricht, Anderson and Clay all won their respective matches. Emery’s No. 1 singles match was halted due to rain in the third set.

The win is JMU’s ninth team victory in a row. The win improved its record to 11-8 for the season.

The Dukes will look to continue their good fortune Friday at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships at the College of William and Mary.

No. 5 seed JMU will take on the No. 4 seeded University of North Carolina-Wilmington in the first round.
