Mr. Freshman at home in Hillside

JMU welcomed a variety of "celebrities" to the stage of Wilson Hall auditorium Tuesday night. Impersonators of Chris Tucker, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, John Mayer and Miss Virginia all made appearances in the talent portion of the Mr. Freshman Pageant 2003.

A capaella: raising awareness for kids

A capella groups sang for a cause Tuesday evening in Grafton-Stovall theatre, raising money for Camping for Kids. The event was co-sponsored by the fraternity Alpha Kappa Lambda and the sorority Delta Delta Delta.

UREC's fitness face lift draws mixed reviews

A recent re-design of the Fitness Two section of UREC has drawn mixed reviews from the JMU community. During the first week of April, UREC repositioned cardiovascular equipment and televisions. The televisions were moved to face the windows looking out over Interstate 81. The re-design was part of a renovation project that dates back to December 2001 when planning for changes began.

Free thinkers discuss deism, atheism, founding fathers

Two speakers discussing deism and athiesm addressed students at the JMU Freethinkers' first Wellness Passport event last Friday in ISAT.
