Board decision disregards student needs, concerns

In its meeting last Friday, the Board of Visitors announced the
discontinuance of dispensing emergency contraceptive pills, also
known as Plan B, through the University Health Center. As seen by
the uproar throughout the JMU community, this action is absurd.

integrity? I empathize with my readers as they groan and mutter
to themselves, "Not another column about ethics." Believe
me, it is as hard to write about the moral shortcomings of those

Greeks deserve better

Breeze Reader's View
After such a successful week for the Greek community and for the
larger Harrisonburg one as well, I flipped through the April 14
issue of The Breeze looking for an article covering all the
amazing accomplishments achieved. I was shocked and disappointed
to find an article which consisted of seven sentences that hardly
enumerated any of the important events that occurred that week.
Letters to the Editor
While griping is something I am not fond of, I feel it is important
that students have a full understanding of where our tuition money
is going.
