Museums display rare art

The JMU Mineral Museum features an extensive collection of more than 500 crystals from around the world. The collection began in 1976 with the support of Lance Kearns, who serves as its curator today.

Program provides free food to students via Internet

Campusfood.com, an online food-ordering company, offers students specials for delivery orders, including a promotional free pizza until Sept. 20. Students can order online from Domino’s Pizza, Chanello’s Pizza or Pizza Hut and get a free medium cheese pizza.

Recreation major eliminated

Beginning this year, the recreation major, a division of the school of kinesiology, no longer is offered.
