Upcoming Warcraft to be another addicting adventureby Mohammed Hafez
In keeping with the tradition of all their games, Blizzard Entertainment
has come through for its fans again with their new Massively Multiplayer
Online Role Playing Game, "World of Warcraft." The game is excessively fun. Its amazing how enjoyable it is in
the game to roam this limitless universe, filled with fantastic creatures,
with your custom-created character while battling a myriad of foes and
increasing your fantasy characters powers and abilities. The game
becomes an addiction. "You glance at [the game] for about five minutes, then, suddenly,
five hours have elapsed and youve done none of your homework,"
junior Joey Blankenburg said. An MMORPG allows thousands of players to exist in the same game world
at the exact same time. The company recently has released to the public
a beta version of this highly anticipated online computer game to test
the games online stability. "Blizzard hasnt gone wrong before, and if the beta is any
inclination [of the future], the game is going to be awesome," junior
Justin Jones said. For those few and proud who recently have been privileged to take part
in this beta test, the fruits of Blizzards hard labor have gamers
jaws dropping worldwide. The games graphics are some of the best on the market for a MMORPG
they use more colors and more detail than most. The fully 3-D world
is scenic and awe inspiring not to mention incredibly huge. Indeed, a player could wander around this world for hours and still only
explore a small portion of Blizzards vast fantasy universe. And with Blizzards promise of "hundreds of hours of game play
with new quests, items and adventures every month," gamers should
be pleased, despite the monthly fee charged of players, which is yet to
be determined. The nine different classes available for custom-character creation are
unique and appeal to all tastes, each with their own impressive array
of spells and abilities. The game also features an astounding soundtrack that immerses the player
into this gargantuan fantasy world. Though the game has not yet been released, it already has the makings of another classic best-selling Blizzard computer game. |
